German WW2 patch from Legion Condor, 1936 – 1939 This item depicted in the images below is a German WW2 patch from Legion Condor. For reference you can see the pictures of airplane used in Legion Condor – look at the image. This patch is in used condition without any cleaning, as found. The Condor division was a German unit that half- secretly fought in the Spanish Civil War between 1936-1940. The Legion Condor tested many of the weapons later on used in the Blitzkrieg campaigns between 1939-1941. This particular item passed very important test – it does not glow under the black lamp (all fabrics after 1945 glow under the black light) – please look at the image (for compare we put last image which glow under a black lamp). Also the piece have an old smell that old authentic cloth keeps. More over the item passed 2nd test – burned test (old fabric after burn become a proud, modern fabric become a resin).
